River Reach-Community Plan

River Reach Pointe is a neighborhood of only 72 lots. Its location at the end of Rivers Reach Drive gives it a feeling of seclusion, but it is actually located close to other neighborhoods. To the south is a large piecce of land known as Cainhow Plantation, which should offer a fabulous buffer for the forseeable future.

Amenities in River Reach include the community dock which offers residents a view of the Wando River for miles. Boating in the upper Wando is a fun excursion. Hiking the trails of nearby Francis Marion National Forest is a full day event, and camping there overnight would make a nice weekend getaway.

An Architectual Review Board, governing all homes, custom and speculative, will enforce building guidelines to preserve the unique character of River Reach.

A Homeowner’s Association featuring covenants and restrictions and funded by annual dues is available for the community. All property owners will be required to participate.

River Reach features underground utilities. Electricity is provided by South Carolina Electric and Gas and water and sewer services are provided by the Commissioners of Public Works. Telephone, cable, and internet services will also be available.
